Referral Programs

Up-n-Running Computers and Networks is looking for new business customers and offers a referral program.

For every business customer you refer, for one year from the first work done, you have at your choice either

1 free hour of service for every 7 hours of work at the referred customer

or

A half of the portion of the payment that is above 75/h.

Example:
Regular rate of Up-n-Running Computers and Networks is $95/h for workstation work and $105/h for server and network work.
If you refer a customer that pays $95/h, then you get (95-75)/2=$10 for every hour of service paid by the customer.
If the customer pays $85/h, then you get (85-75)/2=$5 for every hour paid.

You are welcome to negotiate the rates with the customer you refer.

Referral fees are paid once payment has been received from a referred customer.

Please note that this referral program is for referring business customers only, not home customers. Referral fees are paid for a home customer only if that customer refers some business customers.
Referrals are paid for labour only, not for parts sold. For a parts referral program, please take a look on Dell referral program below.
Referrals are paid for 1 year after first work is done at the referred customer.

Dell referral program

If you refer a customer that buys over $999 of Dell products from Up-n-Running Computers and Networks, then you get 2% of the amount the customer spent.

A referred customer does not have to spend over $999 at once. The purchases are accumulated for 6 months. Purchases older than 6 months are not counted.
Example:
A customer spent $999 on February, 28 and $1 on August, 29. In this case, no referral payment.
A customer spent $999 on February, 28 and $1 on August, 27. You get 2%*$1,000=$20.

Referral fees are paid once payment has been received from a referred customer.
